We are starting our Space unit this week as well and the kids {and myself!} are just loving it! I absolutely love teaching my kiddos about Science. There are just so many great questions and lots of fun things to learn about!
We started off by doing a simple brainstorm about all of the space words that come to mind. I was amazed at how much they already knew!
Then, we did a KWL chart, and again- I was happily surpised and amazed at the questions my kiddos came up with! I think we will have a lot to put under the "L" section once we are finished.
We watched some videos on Pebble Go! {my firsties love that part!}.
We wrapped the week up by looking at the phases of the moon and doing sweet Cara's moon mobile. They turned out SO adorable! I can't wait to hang them in my room. :)
Next week we will be moving onto the Sun and the stars and planets. Stay tuned!
