Penguin Art/Writing

I know that most of you have already done penguins this year, but here is a cute activity that we did a few weeks ago.

I made pieces for the kids to trace on manila folders and they traced, cut, and glued them on. I then cut writing paper that would fit on the back of the penguin. The kids wrote about things they learned penguins do.

I hung 19 pieces of yarn from my room's ceiling and hung the penguins so that you could see the art and the writing. They really liked this and had fun reading all of them!
