These are all pretty self explanatory :)

My district is participating in Bring Your Own Technology. Our principal is leaving it up to the grade levels to decide if we want out students to do it, and so far we've elected not to.
I'm curious though- how many people out there have 1st graders brining iPhones/iPads/etc. to school? How do you manage it?
I think I could handle it because I already have access to 2 iPads and the kids do great. I'm not really worried about them using it inappropriately, however, what happens when you thought they were bringing them so you planned accordingly, and then they don't bring it that day?
I'm very interested in doing this, but also very cautious!
DON'T MISS OUT: Everything in my store is 10% off until Tuesday 9/3 at midnight [CST]!
That's an interesting concept, BYOT. I've never heard of that! I would be worried about inappropriate use as well. Unless you had a basket for each item to live in at school (their technology labeled with their name or number), and only allowed them to use it at certain times. I would still be worried. You would really have to monitor, and get the parents on your side to monitor the apps they download! I don't know if I would trust a 1st grader with an iPhone anyways...call me old fashioned, if you will!
