12 Facts About Me...
1. I share a birthday with my one and only niece.
2. I am the youngest person at my school.

3. I have had 3 different classrooms in the year and 4 months I've been at my current school.

4. I knew I wanted to marry Mr. Thompson after about 1 month of dating. <3

5. We currently live with my mother-in-law and there are 4 dogs and 4 cats living in our house.
6. My favorite color is purple.

7. My $25 dollar laminator was the best purchase I've ever made.

8. If I weren't a teacher, I would love to drop everything and just move to a different country for a year (preferably Italy!)

9. I am a sucker for a chick flick- The Notebook, The Time Traveler's Wife, Eat Pray Love.
10. I'm fairly sensitive but I put on a tough act to people who don't know me.
11. I couldn't walk a month before my wedding because of multiple ruptured discs in my lower back. However, I got 3 epidural steroid injections and I am relatively pain free (it still flares up when I've been moving desks or something).
12.  I am my school's Campus Technology Liasion. That means it is my job to teach the other teachers about new technology.

1.What is one thing you wished you had for your classroom?

iPads would be AWESOME!

2. How early do you get to school? OR How late do you stay?
I normally get there at about 7:30am and a lot of the time stay til 6 or 7- way later than I need to but there is just so much to do!

3. How would your students describe you?

Fun, kind, & that I love to make posters.

4. Why do you like blogging?

I love to find new and fresh ideas for my students and I also love to share the few ideas that I have! Why reinvent the wheel?!

5. What is your favorite concept to teach?

Science- space & oceans in particular

6. What is one thing you wish you knew before you became a teacher?

Don't buy everything you see!

7. How do you stay organized?

By spending wayyyy too many hours at school. Also: labels, bins, lists, everything having a place.

8. Mac or PC?

PC! I have PC at home and Mac at school and I just prefer my PC much more.

9. Plants - do you have them, can you keep them alive?

No and no. If it doesn't cry or bark, I won't remember to feed it! :)

10. What is your favorite band/artist?

Currently: Jack Johnson. Banana Pancakes is just SO happy and uplifting!

11. What is the last movie you saw?

Captain America: The Last Avenger with Mr. Thompson

12. What are you currently reading?

Nothing! There is a huge void in my life where "The Hunger Games" used to be and I can't seem to fill it!
