Buddy Reading Task Cards UPDATE & Pics

If you have purchased my Buddy Reading Task Cards, make sure you go and re-download! I have added a ton of new questions for fiction and also added a non-fiction set. I was so excited to re-introduce these in my classroom and my kids were even more excited to have new questions to ask their friends! :)

Here are some photos of the cards in action with my kiddos during our
Daily 5 "Read to Someone" time.

Here is how I am storing them in my classroom. I realized just now that I don't have a picture from farther away, but they are right above our book boxes so they are easy to grab and go. As you can see I am a fan of printing things in black and white onto colored cardstock/paper.

And here is some super sweet feedback from a few buyers. Take it from them :)

And because I want to say THANKS for actually reading my blog posts, I'd love to give these away to one fabulous reader!
Tell me your favorite summer activity in a comment and hubby will pick a winner Sunday night. :) Congrats Suzy Q!
I'm also going to make it 10% off for the rest of the weekend! Thanks for reading!

  1. I absoutely love your reading buddy task card idea! Perfect idea to keep the students engaged and give them ideas on questions they want to ask their reading partner. My favorite summer activity....smelling all that fresh cut grass in the air and enjoying extra time with my family. :)

  2. These look awesome! I'd love to try with my kiddos next year. My favorite thing to do in the summer is to actually get to hang out with my adorable nieces. There's a third coming this summer (we don't know if it's a niece or nephew) but we'll be busy - they're such a nice break amidst summer school and professional development!

  5. I love the idea of these buddy task cards...I always worry that students need more structure to make the most of their time together.

As far as summer, I love whipping up a summer beverage and sitting out on our deck to enjoy it.

    Fingers crossed....
