Do you know Elmer?

These are seriously my new favorite books! I had NEVER heard of Elmer until a couple weeks ago when my teammate brought her son's books up. I fell in love! I think the Elmer books are a great way to teach many different skills- Text Connections, Adjectives, Character Analysis, Colors... it goes on and on!

 

So, I decided to throw it all together in my newest unit:

Elmer the Elephant, a Unit for Integrated Math and Literacy
